    Fishless Cycling.

    in Reef Chemistry

I Recently started my new 70gal reef tank and I am using Dr. Tim's One and Only. I also used the accompanying Ammonium Chloride. UNFORTUNATELY I followed the directions on the Ammonium Bottle and overdosed the system. I need to do a water change. My question is, How much of a water change can I get away with?

I have read that a 50% to 75% water change is in order, BUT I lack The buckets and the funding to just go and buy 35 gallons of pre-mixed salt water which is the preferred method right now. I have buckets for 20 gallons. Its just a mess and I need direction.
