I don't have any experience with that particular fish, but when I was keeping cichlids, it was common practice to slightly rearrange some things in the tank to throw off territorial markers for the existing fish. That way everybody was on more equal standings establishing their place in the tank.
Finally got him. Got couple different frozen foods incase and go figure he's already eating. Got to thank john at Cincinnati coral and Aquarium for the healthy

I am watching this because that fish is one of my favorites and I have not yet had the nerve to spend what they cost YET
There are not as bad as you might think. We have a baby one coming in on 3/4/20

He was pretty easy. Some are not. He was very shy for the first couple days. Such a beautiful fish!
What a pretty Fish! Are you keeping him seperated from any one with that egg crate @513reefertank ?
You know he is protecting him from some of those monsters he has in there. He has about as many tangs in his tang as I do!

Yea letting him to accumulated to my tank before I let the big dogs meet him. He staying out alot too
Yea I have 5 in display but some of most aggressive tangs u can have. One clown tang in frag
