I have had this new coral in my tank for 4 days now. All my levels are perfect. The coral started to get a few faded area on it. Is this normal?

I placed it on the bottom of the tank for 24 hours and them moved it up into the rock formation a few inches

I'm talking about before you put the coral in the tank. How long has your tank been running? What kind of lights do you use?

I don't think that would hurt anything. Did you drip acclimate the coral? It could be just stressed from the move.

Leather corals do this all the time. One day they look like they are dying and then the next day they are OK. Just leave it alone for a few days and see what happens.

The coral is probably getting ready TO shed.... (which is one way it grows) I had a leather that grew so fast that it barely spent time with the Polyps out.

Is chromoplex a good food for my leathers, polyps, brain, and cup?

It is shedding. That is why it looked the way it did for the last few days. That is a perfectly normal thing. It should start looking better in a couple of days.
