Anyone know where to score some type III portland cement (white)? I'm having trouble locating some.

Yeah, I couldn't find it and ended up using the gray stuff.

it is labled Heavy-Duty Masonry Coating by quikrete should be at homedopot or lowes.

I have around 30 lbs just sitting around if you can't find it.

Scott,

Thanks for the response. In looking at the spec sheet, it says it contains portland cement, sand, and chemical to repel water. Not being a concrete buff, are these chemicals a bad thing?

Have you used this stuff before and how did it work for you?

The look of the bag has changed . MY bag has a purple coloration to it but it is the same item number. Mine is just a white powder no sign of sand or anything in it.

Western Hills Building Supply carries white Portland Cement we use it for Kool Decking which is a topping over regular concrete. they are on Harrison Ave down where Rybolt Rd hits Harrison
