I'm thinking this is normal behavior, but I just thought I would ask.
I bought a small 5 polyp or so frag of GSP from Jacks b/c it was cheap, and I figured it would get me a good start in my 15 gal nano at work. Well, at jacks they only have PC lighting (one of the 48" Orbits). Well, when it was in their tank, the polyps were very long and stretched out... not very colorfull, and looked like they were really reaching for light. Well, I put them in my tank, which has a 150W 14K DE Metal Halide, and the polyps have shrank significantly, and have gained their green coloring back. This only happened in one day. Is this normal? Are they just getting used to the high lighting and getting smaller b/c they don't need as much surface area to get light? Any help is appreciate!

Pretty normal behavior. Once they get used to the light they will most likely get a little larger but propably not as large as tehy were under the PC

Yea, they are on the bottom of the tank, and shielded a little by a rock. I'll just have to let them adjust. I'm not worried about growth! I would rather they grow slow so that I can keep it under control!
